Lending a Hand

Dearest Friend,

Yesterday was weirdly a pretty good day- probably because I really got into my book, Where'd You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple, and I got to read for about an hour straight.  It is rare that I get to do that without feeling guilty.  I didn't feel guilty about it because I had to take Ariana to the dentist and didn't have enough time to go home so I just read in the car until school was over.  It didn't hurt that the weather was super gorgeous.  I know the rain is coming back especially for Spring Break but you absolutely have to enjoy it while it is here.

I took a Lent picture as well- everything is out of order but this is the year of extra grace and mercy.

I couldn't think of a good picture for this but I just decided to go with Lucy was Lending a Hand to mine by giving me a rainbow manicure.  I don't care what it looks like- it is beautiful and colorful and I am proud of it.

I feeling a little scattered today because of the late start schedule but there are so many things to celebrate today- Won't You Be My Neighbor? (Fred Roger's Birthday), first day of Spring, Happiness Day, and most importantly Hufflepuff Pride Day!  I am technically not a Hufflepuff according to my resorting on Pottermore (I WAS a Hufflepuff before I was resorted) but if the Sorting Hat were real I believe Hufflepuff would be my choice.  I have super soft spot in my heart for my old house.

Hope you have a Huffle-rific Day!
